My photo
epocktextiles
In 2018, I am continuing my journey to attain a Masters of Visual Arts (Textiles) through the Australian National University (ANU) in Canberra. I will post my impressions of exhibitions I visit - as an exercise in improving my writing skills. I am particularly interested in the lives and communities of those women who came before me in Australia - my matriarch's, convict women, immigrant women and indigenous women. After having assumed that I have lived life as an enlightened woman, I am now making enquiries into feminism and wondering if I have any connections to that picture at all. My art will reflect and/or ponder these enquiries.
