eco dyeing

I did a 3 day workshop with Elizabeth Bunsen at Timeless Textiles (heard about it through ATASDA and Mo) I felt the need to inject a totally different aspect to my creative journey, and I do love sandwiches, leaves and tea. The thing that really drew me to Elizabeth's work was her inclusion of an accent colour and handstitch to the natural dyeing.
Lace & webstitch to reference my recent work with Karen Ruane
dyed wool prefelt
leaves, rust and seed pods
stitch on wool & linen
outlining the details
organza over paper
details, a pocket and lace
